The Winter application is now open.  Please see below for instructions on how to apply.

Winter Residence Dates and Deadlines

  • November 1, 2023 at approximately 8:30 am – We will begin accepting online applications for Winter Residence
  • January 7. 2024 at 12:00 pm noon – Winter check-in for students with a confirmed spot in Residence
  • January 31, 2024 at 4:30 pm – Deadline to submit an application for Winter 2024 residence
  • You will be required to vacate your residence room 24 hours after your last scheduled exam in April. If an extension is permitted, the absolute last day of residence is April 26, 2024 at 12:00 pm noon.

Apply for Winter Residence

Step 1:  Using your MC1 credentials log into the Housing Portal by clicking on the button below:

Step 2:  Once you have logged into the Housing Portal, click on “Housing Application”

Step 3: Select the Winter 2024

Step 4: Follow the steps to complete the application.  Please note there is a $50 non-refundable application fee.  The $50 application fee can be paid by credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express, any Visa/Debit* cards) or by Interac. Please note that only customers of RBC Royal Bank, TD Bank, First Nations may use the Interac option.

Keep In Mind

  • New students must accept an offer of Admission from Carleton before you can apply for Residence.
  • Depending on availability, we will offer space according to waitlist position.
  • In order to be eligible for winter term residence, students must be registered in a minimum of 1.5 credits for the winter term.
  • Please view the 2023-2024 Residence Agreement.
