- Room Assignment Process for Graduate Students
-
Room Assignment Process
Graduate students are assigned to the 6th floor and one wing on 5th of Leeds House, which consists mostly of 2-person suites. The floor is co-ed, and upon request through the Residence Information Form (RIF), suites can also be gender inclusive. Due to high demand, we are extending Graduate residence to the 6th floor of Prescott House.
Please note that there are no facilities for family accommodation. Students of any gender may request to share a suite, including the meal preparation and bathroom facilities by indicating so on the Residence Information Form.
Suitemate Matching
If you do not indicate a suitemate preference, we will match you with one based on your answers on the Residence Information Form. Please answer these questions as accurately as possible so that we can find the best possible match of suitemate for you.
Some factors that we take into consideration when matching suitemates are:
- Age
- Faculty
- Request for all gender/single gender floors
- Smoking (although all residences are smoke free)
- Answers regarding personal lifestyle
Room Changes
We will begin accepting room change requests on September 29. Room changes are offered on a first come, first serve basis according to student type and availability. While every attempt is made to accommodate room change requests, a new room assignment is not always readily available. Residents will be contacted if and when there is a new room assignment to consider. More information regarding room changes can be found here.
