Fall Term Meal Plan Change

From the beginning of the Fall Term to September 20, 2021, you may change your meal plan option for unlimited number of times* (including opting out for residents of Leeds and Frontenac). After September 20, 2021, and until the end of the Fall Term, you may change your meal plan options only if the change results in an increase in the number of weekly meals.

Winter Term Meal Plan Change

From the beginning of the Winter Term to January 17, 2022, you may change your meal plan option unlimited number of times*.  After January 17, 2022, and until the end of the Winter Term, you may change your meal plan options only if the change results in an increase in the number of weekly meals.

* The first meal plan option change made in each of the Fall and Winter Terms is free of charge. A $25 administrative fee will be assessed for any subsequent meal plan option changes.

Meal plan fees will be adjusted accordingly to the Student Account.

  • If the change is made in the Fall Term: Non-refundable Dining Dollars loaded for the Fall Term fees will remain on the Campus Card, and Dining Dollars for the Winter Term will be refunded back to the Student Account.
  • If the change is made in the Winter Term: Dining Dollars are non-refundable.

Meal Plan Change Form

    Please refer to Important Dates for deadlines to reduce your meal plan. By selecting "Fall Term" this will change your meal plan for both the fall and winter terms. For Winter Term changes only, we will start accepting Winter Term meal plan changes in late November.
  • This collection notice may be appended to forms used by Academic and Administrative units to collect personal information from any individual who interacts with us. “Personal information collected through this form will be used and disclosed by Carleton University under the authority of the Carleton University Act, 1952, and in accordance with sections 39, 41 and 42 of Ontario’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. The purpose of this processing is to apply for a meal plan change. If you have any questions about the processing of personal information by Carleton University, please contact the Manager, Privacy & Access to Information, by phone at 613-520-2600 ext. 2047 or by e-mail via University_Privacy_Office@carleton.ca.” If the collection is occurring through a web form, you can create a PDF of the completed notice and create a hyperlink with the following statement.
