Fees and Payment
- When will the residence fees be posted?

Your residence fees will be posted in the middle of December. Students will receive an email to their Carleton email account when the fees are posted.
- How much do I have to pay and what is the deadline to make payment?

The residence fees can be found by clicking here and looking under the “Winter Term” column.
All winter term fees, including residence and tuition, are due by November 25.
Preparing to Move In
- What type of room am I assigned?

Beginning mid-December we will commence building and room assignment. More information will be emailed later in December.
- When is my move in date?

Winter 2022 move-in will begin after 12:00 pm noon on January 8, 2023 More move-in information will be provided by email later in December.
- What to do if I am arriving after January 9, 2023?

Checking in
- Where do I check-in?

When you arrive, please proceed to the Residence Reception Desk in the Commons building to pick up your key package and receive further instructions.
- How many people are allowed to come with me to help me move in?

Students are permitted to have up to two family members/friends to assist them with their move. Carts will be loaned by Housing and Residence Life Services to students at request and can be signed out at the Residence Reception Desk.
COVID-19 Safety Protocols
- Is vaccination required prior to move-in?

At this time, it is no longer mandatory that all students have to be fully vaccinated prior to arriving to Residence. Please refer to Carleton’s COVID-19 Vaccines page for details about vaccination requirements.
