Welcome! Thank you for your interest in graduate student accommodation. Residence offers a great opportunity to meet and live with people from different backgrounds, religions, nationalities, cultures, and interests. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity for personal growth.

Graduate students are accommodated in Leeds House, which provides single room accommodation to 395 graduate and senior undergraduate students. Graduate students occupy the top floor in a total of 72 beds, the majority of which are contained in 2 person suites. The floor is co-ed, and upon request through the Residence Information form, suites can also be mixed gender.

Please note that there are no facilities for family accommodation. We offer, in Leeds House only, mixed gender suite style living to residents who have reached the age of 19 by August 30, 2017. Students of opposite gender may request to share a suite, including the meal preparation and bathroom facilities. Interested students can indicate their interest on the Residence Information Form.

To be eligible for graduate residence, students must be accepted into a degree program at the graduate level and be enrolled in full-time studies. Preference is given to students who currently study at Carleton.

You must first accept your offer of admission before you can apply for residence. Furthermore, there may be a delay of three or four days between the time you accept the offer of admission and are able to apply for residence.

The 2017 – 2018 Residence Agreement will be updated in the Spring.
