Are you an African, Caribbean or Black (ACB) student living in Residence? Are you an artist? Are you interested in winning $250?
We are looking for a Black artist living in residence to have their art showcased in our community at the Residence Reception Desk in Teraanaga Commons and Rideau House during Black History Month.
We want you to illustrate what it means to you to be a Black student in residence and at Carleton University. Submission are due by January 7, 2026 at 11:59pm via this form.
The image must follow the following parameters:
- 2 panels each 110 x126.5 cm
- Can be in full colour or black & white
- Needs to be submitted in /.png format
- Can be hand drawn or a graphic design
- Please note: the image will be displayed on 2 panels each 110 x126.5 cm. You can create as two separate panels or as one image over both panels (please note, there will be a line down the center.
- Please feel free to come to the Residence Reception Desk in Teraanga Commons, 2nd floor and you can see where the winner’s image will be displayed.
