Mailroom Hours
Summer Hours of Operation:
Please be aware that as of Monday, April 27, the Residence Mailroom will be closed for the summer. For summer residence students, mail deliveries will be accepted at the Teraanga Reception Desk. Mail will continue to be processed into the Kiosks on the 1st floor of Teraanga Commons. For all mail inquiries, please visit the Teraanga Reception Desk for additional support.
Packages
Although you may receive confirmation from your courier that your package has been delivered to the Residence Mailroom, it may take up to two business days for processing. You will receive an email from Residence Mail Services to your cmail once your package is ready for collection.
Unclaimed Mail Policy
Students can receive mail during the time in which they live in residence. Students are responsible for picking up mail before the expiration period. Once mail has been processed, students have 48 hours to pick up their mail from the Kiosks. If mail has not been picked up within that time, it will be removed from the lockers and moved into the mailroom where it will be held for an additional 3 business days. Please note that larger packages that cannot fit into the lockers will be processed directly into the mailroom.
Any mail that is not claimed or picked up after this time will be returned to sender. Any mail that is not claimed or picked up prior to a student moving out of residence will be returned to sender. If return to sender is not possible, items will be donated to a local charity or disposed of if donation is not possible.
For any mail received for students not currently living in residence, mail will immediately be returned to sender or donated to a local charity if return to sender is not possible. The University is not responsible for any lost or unclaimed mail.
