Residence Fitness Centre

The Residence Fitness Centre is located in Prescott House 202. With a variety of fitness equipment, the Residence Fitness Centre is accessible to every residence student via their Campus Card.
Fitness Centre hours
  • September 4, 2023 – December 22, 2023: 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight). 
  • December 22, 2023 – January 7, 2024: Closed for the holiday break.  
  • January 8, 2024 – April 25, 2024: 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight). 
2SLGBTQ+ Community Exclusive Hours

Located on the ground floor of Prescott House, the Carleton University Residence Gym offers specific times exclusive to the 2SLGBTQ+ community:

  • Mondays: 8:30pm-10:00pm
  • Wednesdays: 4:30pm-6:00pm
  • Sundays: 2:30pm-4:00pm

Laundry


Every residence building has a laundry room with front-loading washer and dryers. Front-loading machines typically require high efficiency laundry detergent. Each laundry room has instructions for operating the machines and basic laundry steps.

Charges

The charges are $1.65 per load to wash and $1.65 per load to dry, payable by Campus Card.

Packages

Although you may receive confirmation from your courier that your package has been delivered, it may take up to two business days for processing in the residence mail room. You will receive an email from maillockers@cmail.carleton.ca to your cmail once your package is ready for collection. Please check your spam/junk folder if you do not receive the email within 48 hours of delivery.

Visit the kiosk specified in the email subject line and enter the collection PIN or scan the QR code provided to you in the email.

Mailroom Hours

The mailroom is closed on weekends and holidays. Hours of operations are as follows:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
    • Closed between 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
  • Extended Evening Hours
    • Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
    • Please note that during the Winter term reading week break (February 17 to February 21), the extended evening hours will be suspended

Unclaimed Mail Policy

Please note: Any mail that is not claimed or picked up after this time will be returned to sender. If return to sender is not possible, items will be donated to a local charity or disposed of if donation is not possible. For any mail received for students not currently living in residence, mail will immediately be returned to sender or donated to a local charity if return to sender is not possible. The University is not responsible for any lost or unclaimed mail.
