Residence Fellows
Residence Fellows are student staff members trained to foster safe and inclusive environments. Each floor has one to two Residence Fellow(s).
If you are experiencing a situation that makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, your Residence Fellow is available to you. They will connect with a network of professional supports to help address the issue in a confidential manner.

Hours
The Residence Reception Desk is usually open 24/7. Please note the following adjustments to our hours during the winter term reading week:
- Saturday, February 15 – Last day of 24/7 operation
- Sunday, February 16 to Friday, February 21 – Open from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm
- Saturday, February 22 – Open at 7:00 am and resume 24/7 operation

Teraanga Award for Black Students
On the recommendation of the Executive Director of Housing and Residence Life Services, this bursary is awarded annually to a Black (including, but not limited to: African, African-American, Afro-Brazilian, Afro-Canadian, Afro-Caribbean, undergraduate student at Carleton University who demonstrates financial need.
Eligible students must be entering or continuing any program of study and residing in a Carleton University residence during 2024-25. The recipient showing a strong dedication to the residence community, will receive $1,000. This bursary was endowed in 2023 by the Department of Housing and Residence Life Services.
