Now that most of you have been told where you will be living for the next eight months, there’s no doubt that you’re beginning to plan the big move.  But with those plans come lots of important questions.  What’s in my room? What can I bring?  What can’t I bring?

Not to worry – here’s a concise list what things come in the room, what things to bring, and what things to leave at home based on your style of Residence.  As a reminder, Traditional Residences include Glengarry, Grenville, Russell, Renfrew, Stormont, Dundas, Lanark, and Lennox & Addington. Suite Style Residences include Frontenac, Leeds, and Prescott.

What Comes in the Room (Traditional & Suite Style):

Bed & mattress (extra-long twin size)

Cooking equipment (blenders, toasters, hot plates, etc…)
Space heaters
Your own refrigerator (Coldex only please)*
Drum sets & electric guitars

*A Word about Coldex…

The rental prices on the Coldex website include delivery, servicing, pickup, HST, and a refundable deposit.  If you don’t have your room or Residence assignment when ordering the refrigerator, Coldex will obtain that information prior to your move-in.  Another thing to consider is sharing a fridge with your future roommate!  The benefits are added space and split cost!
